About Jason
Up in the Cheap Seats Cabaret @ Priscilla Beach Theatre
Jason (he/they) was born and raised in Catonsville, Maryland, a suburb of nearby Baltimore, where he began trodding the boards from a young age. It soon became clear that the theatre was his home and that he would begin pursuing a career in show business. Jason trained at the Westminster College of the Arts at Rider University, graduating (virtually) in May 2020 and moving back home to weather the pandemic. With things returning to somewhat normal, Jason recently made the big jump to New York City, where he lives now.
On top of musical theatre, Jason also developed an interest in offstage work, with experience in stage management, costumes, lighting, and sound. Besides his work in the theatre, Jason has devoted a great amount of time to becoming a progressive activist, working to encourage inclusivity and diversity in artistic spaces, in addition to championing causes from mutual aid and interfaith cooperation to LGBTQ+ rights and fighting police brutality.
